It was a day filled with excitement and fun.
I had an amazing time with the kids. Reminds me of my childhood days.
The kids were having so much fun that in the end they did not want to leave.
Cheers to all.

Dear Fr.Warner,

U have rightly put it!! Yesterday was just a beautiful afternoon.
I was amazed with some of the qualities these children had, apart from the bad ones.

Most of them so confident and never feeling shy to come forward. It was touching when so many of them asked me and many of the other volunteers i am sure, if i had eaten food. When I said no, I would eat after they finished, some of them refused to accept it. One kid didn't let me go until I had a bit to eat from his plate. Being in their situation and at their age, I dont fell i would have done the same.

As u rightly put it, Keith and Joshua need to take a call on whether and when to have the hour long program for these kids.
I have a small suggestion - Once we decide when we are having it and all the other details, I think it would be a good idea to show them the pictures clicked yesterday considering we didn't get a chance to do this on the day.

Rgds,
Kunaal P.

Dear Rev.Fr. Warner

I had the privelige to attend the get together which you organised for the parishioners yesterday in the evening. It was all the more enjoyable as I was attending the function with my wife Isabel and daughter Christine. Truly the youth did a marvellous job, and you must be congragulated for reviving the youth movement in the parish.

Fr. Larry was right in saying that the grounds of Mt. Carmel keep on chaning or rather tranfroming depending on what function is being held.

The decor was simple but nice, and the catering by Herbert was really excellent. I pray to the almighty that he keeps you always in good health, and that you continue to keep on having programmes as many as possible, which will bring the community together as one body in Christ. God Bless You.

With best regards

John Cardinho

Dear Fr.Warner,

I was very priviliged to have been a part of Jesus Fest, albeit in the role of an usher on the first two days, ie. Walking with the Cross, and the Rock Festival.

You and your team must definitely be congragulated on the stupendous show Jesus Fest, and by the grace of God, everything went off smoothly. I was wondering Fr. Warner, how we could manage the procession on the first evening, when the traffic had to be controlled, but God worked mightily, and there was no much hiccups.

Amazing was the turnout for the this procession, with more than 700 youth participating. I had expected them to come only on the second day, but truly a lot of efforts have been put to get the youth for this functuion.

I liked wha Bishop Bosco Penha commented in his short speech. Even though he did not really comprehend the music of today, but if it draws the youth to Christ and the church, then he was all for it. Music is a great bond between the youth and God, and it has been manifested that day. The singers were really amazing and professional to the core. But most important they all in one voice thanked the Lord for their gifts.

I hope you will continue to hold Jesus Fest every year, and in whatever small we can help as seniors will also boost us. I have first seen you when you played th role of Judas in the play "The Witness", and I knew you were special.

Our family is looking forward to having you keep your pormise to come and share a simple meal with us whenever time permits you.

On behalf of my daughter Christine, my wife Isabel, my niece Rochelle, her dad Aga, and her mother Bella I wish you a very happy birthdy tomorrow. May God keep you in good health, and may you continue to give your lovely thought provking short homilies.

NO SHADOWS TO DEPRESS YOU
ONLY JOYS TO SURROUND YOU
MANY FRIENDS TO LOVE YOU
GOD HIMSELF TO BLESS YOU
THESE ARE our WISHES FOR YOU TOMORROW AND EVERYDAY.

With best regards
JOHN CARDINHO

I have been busy and only just got back the comp on the go again, yesterday evening. Just to let you know that Chris, Jonathan, Anoushka and self appreciate all that you did before and during the Lenten season. We missed the Trevor Lewis and Jesusfest - (both the kids were sick and have only just recovered) but heard it was a great success. Well done fathers !!! It was indeed wonderful to see so many people from Santacruz and God knows where all, come for our parish Lenten Services. Congrats ! and God bless all of you for the efforts you put in to see a better and larger congregation.

With Warm Regards,
MARILYN

hey the social was neatly organized, met alot of people, had a real goood time
made a lot of of new frnds and most of all very nicely promoted the even especially( goin 2 people’s houses ) great idea "KEEP IT UP" – JOY D’SOUZA

I have to give it for the commitee members for planning and executing the social with excellent planning and precision. Even though at first i remember them saying that they had got only 50 ppl signed up for the social, and when i came i realized there were 130! and that was awesome. About the publicity i think that was very well publicised. i saw posters every where besides the church ones. in Kylemore, Kalpana Caterers, Outside Nadia's building, and so many more places so it could not be missed. And they even went to phone people and personally go to their houses, so thats great. Congratulations to the Carmel Youth Movement. – JEREMY FONSECA

the event was excellent and i really enjoyed every part of the event , thanks to each and every youth who made this event sucessful , also thanks to Fr warner for organising events for the youth , but at the same time getting all the youth of MT Carmels to participate in it . – RICHARD PEREIRA

I think the best part of the camp was that it was an all round thing....not only religion oriented....and I think its agreed that whatever prayer sessions we had no one got bored as is the usual story....enjoyed and looked forward to them more like... we also got to know more youth so now we can interact better at meetings and stuff....A really phatte experience...looking forward to the next one!!! – MALAIKA RODRIGUES
